The farmhouse Arnaione is situated in the heart of Maremma, 20 km north from Grosseto in the community of Roccastrada, at Arnaione, 1.5 km away from Sticciano Scalo and 4 km from the medieval village of Sticciano Alto. It has a strategic position, both for the climate and for the location, ideal starting point for sightseeing tours to several sites of interest.

Driving directions:

Coming from Firenze-Siena: exit in Paganico, following the sign to Roccastrada and take direction to Sticciano Scalo. Immediately after the village of Sticciano Scalo, turn left in Via delle Pianacce and go on until you find some sports facilities (football court), pass them keeping the right and follow the not asphalt road that goes into the wood. Go on that way for 1 km and you will find “Arnaione” on your right.

Coming from Pisa-Livorno: exit the clearway in Braccagni and directly turn right and then immediately left, following directions to Siena-Roccastrada. After 6 km you will arrive to the small village of Sticciano Scalo. Just before entering the village, turn right in Via delle Pianacce and go on until you find some sports facilities (football court), pass them keeping the right and follow the not asphalt road that goes into the wood. Go on that way for 1 km and you will find “Arnaione” on your right.

Coming from Rome: on the clearway, after passing Grosseto, take the second exit for Braccagni. Turn left and left again after 400 m, following directions to Siena-Roccastrada. After 6 km you will arrive to the small village of Sticciano Scalo. Just before entering the village, turn right in Via delle Pianacce and go on until you find some sports facilities (football court), pass them keeping the right and follow the not asphalt road that goes into the wood.
